Blues 0 Chiefs 3
The Chiefs attack from a scrum, on the edge of the Blues' 22, but Kerr-Barlow's grubber kick rolls into touch. That's the final act of this half and the sides head into the sheds. The Blues have given it a real crack in a bid to score as many points as possible, but their decision to run almost every ball, in atrocious weather conditions, has reaped little rewards. The Chiefs have sat back and played a more tactical game but they too are yet to cross their opponents' try-line. Hopefully the rain stops soon and then we could have some tries scored after the break.
Tom Marshall sets off on a run but makes little headway and is knocked backwards by a big hit from Luatua just inside the Blues' half!

It's just been confirmed that Lolagi Visinia has passed a late fitness test and will start on the right wing for the Blues. This means that George Moala will be amongst the replacements.
The Blues will be without veteran All Blacks prop Tony Woodcock and captain Luke Braid for this game. Woodcock suffered a shoulder injury during last weekend's loss to the Crusaders and will be replaced by Sam Prattley. Brendon O'Connor comes in for regular skipper and openside flanker Luke Braid who underwent surgery on a shoulder injury earlier in the week. In other changes, Charles Piutau returns to his favoured position of full-back in a reshuffled Blues back-line, with Tevita Li coming onto the left wing in place of George Moala while Lolagi Visinia is hoping to overcome a haematoma to his quad and is currently bracketed with Moala. Francis Saili also comes in at centre for Pita Ahki who has joined the New Zealand Sevens team ahead of the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow later this month.
Chiefs boss Dave Rennie has made only one change to his starting line-up for this crucial encounter. Bundee Aki comes at inside centre in to replace Charlie Ngatai who is out with a shoulder injury. Hooker Nathan Harris, comes onto the bench and he is joined by Dwayne Sweeney in the only other change to the reserves.
