Full Time
Another unconvincing and uninspiring performance from the Stormers. A side that looks as impressive as theirs on paper should be performing better. The Reds wanted it a bit more on the day and managed to hold onto their own ball a bit better than the Stormers. The visitors showed some fight at the end with a near comeback. They'll be relieved that their tour is over and will be eager to get home to Newlands to try get a win.

The Reds win their scrum and put the ball out to touch! That ends a miserable tour for the Stormers who failed to win a match. Reds are ecstatic that they have got themselves back into winning ways!

Catrakilis puts in a bomb which the Reds gather. They try to run it and the ball goes loose from a sloppy pass! de Jongh just fails to gather it cleanly and knocks the ball on! That may have been their last chance.

Stormers win a penalty as Anthony Fainga'a commits a professional foul. They kick for touch and find it just inside the Reds half.

CONVERSION, CATRAKILIS, 22-17. Demetri nails it from the corner and we now have a game on our hands with 5 min to play!

TRY! STORMERS, NOTSHE, 22-15. They set up a driving maul and young Notshe gets a try on debut as they push over the line!

Stormers win a penalty now! Catrakilis whose on for Grant kicks for the corner. They must score now!

PENALTY, REDS, COOPER, 22-10. Great kick from Cooper! Big trouble for the Stormers who look like they may fly home with zero wins from their tour!

Stormers are penalized at the breakdown and Cooper will have a shot from the 22m just to the right hand side. This will hurt the Stormers if he slots it.

DROP GOAL, REDS, COOPER, 19-10. The Reds take the ball through 11 phases before Cooper steps into the pocket and slots a great drop kick!

Cooper chip kicks towards the Stormers try line for Lucas to run onto but it wasn''t the best option. Sailosi Tagicakibau gets back and dots down for a 22m.

de Allende is pinged for being offside on the halfway line. Also just outside Quade's range and Cooper opts for touch. Now they lose their own ball in the line out and the Stormers kick down field.

And they've knocked it on. Scrum to reds just outside their 22m.

The Stormers win a penalty after they have a man taken out in the air in a line out. It's just out of Grants range and they kick for touch. Stormers need to give themselves a chance here and be patient with ball in hand.

PENALTY, REDS, COOPER, 16-10. No issues for Quade!

The Reds come extremely close to scoring! They're awarded a penalty straight in front and Cooper should be able to produce the first points of the half!

Quade Cooper finds good yardage off his clearance kick. Line out troubles for the Stormers now as Fourie fails to secure his side a line out as the Reds steal the ball and go on attack!

A kick through by de Allende bounced awkwardly for Ben Lucas, de Allende nearly claims it but its knocked on and goes out. Ref hasn't seen the knock on and the Stormers are awarded a line out on the Reds 22m! Fourie's throw is skew yet again and that's a wasted chance for the visitors.

Vermeulen runs strongly off the back of the scrum before the Stormers put a kick through. Rocket Rod (Davies) gets the ball, shows some serious toe and nearly finds space but loses the ball forward. Scrum to Stormers on the half way.

Genia's kicking game is causing a bit of trouble for the Stormers at the back. He puts in another good kick which Taute eventually gets and puts in a decent clearance. The Reds knock on after the resulting line out.

After several turnovers from both sides, Genia gets the ball and puts a chip kick over which he nearly gathers again. The Stormers kick back and eventually another Genia tactical kick finds touch inside the Stormers 22m.

Big run from the flying Fijian on the left wing for the Stormers as he gets the visitors on the front foot. The Reds defense is solid and eventually a big hit from Slipper on de Jongh ends the Stormers attack.

And we're underway for the second half! Quade is the first err as his kick rolls too far and goes out in the in-goal area. Stormers will have a scrum on the half way line.

Half Time
After a great start to the match with an early try to de Allende the Stormers slowly started to fade roughly around the time Aplon suffered his horrific injury. The Reds have kept the ball well and looked dangerous with ball in hand. The Stormers will need to play to their strengths and use their pack effectively in the second half. The Reds will hope to look to open the game up, especially if the Stormers start to tire and turn their thoughts to returning home to Newlands.

The siren goes as the scrum is wheeled and that's the end of the half!

Dom Shipperly receiving some medical attention after receiving a big hit from Michael Rhodes. He's now left the field. Scrum to Stormers just inside the Reds half. They'll love some points before the end of the half.

PENALTY, STORMERS, GRANT, 13-10. Grant narrows the gap with a solid strike.

Stormers win a penalty shortly after the restart as Hanson and a few others are caught offside after the Reds clearance kick. Grant will have a shot.

PENALTY, REDS, COOPER, 13-7. Good strike this time from Cooper as he slots it through the middle.

Cooper pulls his attempt to the left and lets the Stormers off the hook. After looking impressive in the opening quarter, the Stormers are nowhere at the moment as the Reds begin to dominate the game. They've won another penalty within kicking range and Cooper will have a shot.

Reds on attack again and win a penalty as Kitshoff infringes at the breakdown! Cooper will have a chance out on the left corner to extend his sides lead to 6.

Missed chance for the Reds! Harris ran a great line off Cooper and found copious amounts of space! He was brought down just meters away from the try line before he knocks on in an attempt to pop the ball to a team mate. They had many numbers out wide if the ball had been quickly recycled!

Stormers lose the ball off an attacking scrum as de Allende failed to hold onto it. de Villiers is penalized at the breakdown and the Reds kick for touch.

CONVERSION, REDS, COOPER, 10-7. Easy kick for Cooper who extends his sides lead!

TRY! REDS, SIMMONS, 8-3. Classic 8, 9, 11 play on the open side of the scrum. The Stormers are slow to the breakdown and Simmons picks and drives over the try line and under the poles!

And we're back underway with a Reds line out! They attack strongly and find some space on the left through Dom Shipperly! He gets close to the try line but is taken into touch. Fourie's throw into the line out is skew and has put his team under pressure. 5m scrum to the Reds!

Oh no! Aplon has dislocated his elbow. Break in play as he receives much needed medical attention. Horrible scenes as they show it on the highlights.

Great play from Aplon who makes a typical jinky run to get his side on the front foot! The Stormers attack strongly with some good skill from Nizam Carr. They lose the ball and the Reds kick down field! Carr gets the ball and is bundled into touch.

PENALTY, REDS, COOPER, 3-7. Cooper gets his team on the board with a good strike!

Now Quade will have another turn at goal as Nizam Carr is penalized for not rolling away at the breakdown. The attempt is straight in front about 42m back.

Grant's kick is short and left. Genia gathers and finds a good clearance.

Great work from captain courageous Jean de Villiers. He made the tackle on Lachie Turner, got on his feet and won his side a penalty. Grant will have a shot from the halfway line.

The Reds attack using their classic inside ball approach off Quade Cooper. The Stormers have done their homework and the home side aren't able to find any gaps! Eventually they are bundled into touch. Great work from the visitors!

CONVERSION, GRANT, 0-7. Great start for Peter Grant!

TRY! STORMERS, DE ALLENDE, 0-5. Strong runs from Carr and Kolisi sets it up for the Stormers who then go wide with slick hands and de Allende runs in an easy try! Great rugby!

A clever kick from the Stormers leaves Lachie Turner having to clear from right on the touch line. He finds touch but only just outside his 22m. The Stormers on attack now!

Greg Holmes knocks the ball on as he tries to be a scrum half for a brief moment at the back of a ruck. Stormers will have a scrum just outside their 22m. They run the ball and make some good ground, before de Jongh loses the ball.

It comes off the upright! The Stormers collect it and clear but don't find touch! Reds are back on the attack again!

Reds win the first penalty as Deon Fourie is penalized for tackling player without the ball. Quade will have a shot from the right hand corner.

Genia eventually puts a kick through which rolls out just outside the 22m after the Stormers defense holds up well.

Kick Off
Peter Grant get's us underway! Immediately a kicking duel begins between the two teams before the Reds have a crack.

Reds News: Robinson, James Hanson and Dom Shipperley have been brought into the starting lineup for the match this Saturday, as the Reds look to return to winning ways at Suncorp Stadium in Round Seven of Super Rugby. All three players were on the reserves bench last weekend when the Reds met the Lions, with Robinson being promoted to replace the injured Liam Gill, Hanson coming into the starting side for Saia Fainga'a and Shipperley for the injured Aidan Toua. Shipperley will play on the wing, with Lachie Turner shifting to fullback. The changes to the starting lineup have also necessitated some shifts to the reserves bench, with Curtis Browning in the back row and Ben Lucas being brought back into the match-day 23 as cover for the back three.

Stormers news: De Jongh has been restored to the side following his return from injury via the bench last weekend, whilst WP U21 star Jurie van Vuuren will make his first Super Rugby start after being named to partner Michael Rhodes at second-row. His promotion to the starting XV, in the absence of injured lock Ruan Botha, is one of three changes to the Stormers pack that started against the Brumbies in Canberra last Saturday - the others see Deon Fourie start at hooker and Nizaam Carr come in at openside. In the backline, meanwhile, the return of de Jongh means a switch back to inside centre for captain Jean de Villiers and Damian de Allende moving back to the wing where he began the 2014 season. Louis Schreuder will come in at scrum-half, with Nic Groom dropping down to the bench after three starts in a row. In a final backline change, Kobus van Wyk drops out of the matchday 23 altogether this week, with Jaco Taute back on the bench after resting his troublesome AC joint against the Brumbies. Taute, in turn, will be joined on the bench by WP Vodacom Cup stars, lock Tazz Fuzani and loose forward Sikhumbuzo Nothse. Both Fuzani and Notshe, who arrived in Brisbane just a day ago, are uncapped at Super Rugby level.

Hello and welcome to Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, as the Reds and Stormers look to get their seasons back on track with a win.
